LITERACY: 

It's arguably the backbone of modern society. And yet, nearly 45 million adults in the USA are functionally illiterate. Of these, 75% are on welfare. Of juvenile offenders, 85% struggle with literacy. Of prisoners, 75% are illiterate.

Illiteracy disables. It confines. It takes away opportunity and holds down lives.

We want to change that through awareness, education, advocacy, intervention, support, and forming connections within communities.
